San Bernardino is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Bernardino is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've been to Jerry's many times for breakfasts and lunches, but never had a burger. Me and a friend decided to rectify that this week. My choice was the western burger with a side of onion rings and an iced tea. My friend had a regular burger, chili fries and nothing to drink (fool). We agreed burgers were huge, possibly a six inch bun and a quarter pound grilled patty, so meaty and tasty, with the fillers right on point: lettuce tomato and pickles for my buddy and onion rings and BBQ sauce for me. I hate pickles. Let me say, the onion rings on both the burger and as a side were exceptional. Beer battered rings outclass breaded anytime in my book and these were big, crunchy and sweet and I wish I had ordered the optional basket of them. One complaint on my end was there BBQ sauce was a little skimpy, but what I got did the job OK. My friend's chili fries elicited a "oh Lordy" comment from my usually taciturn pal, and he lingered over them way past the time I finished everything. Must have been acceptable. If you haven't been to Jerry's ever, be prepared for a lot of noise. This is a place bikers, hikers, workers and the odd general traveling group like to park, and ev

We had the chilaqules with carne asada and the new York steak . Delicious.meat was seasoned well. Excellent customer service by the male waiter. Not the best from the other 2 female waiters. But he made up for uts. Explained the menu options and was very attentive throughout our breakfast. Would definitely come again.

Jerry's is conveniently located for travelers at the intersection of highways 15 and 215 where there are very few dining options. We stopped here on the way home from a road trip and were not disappointed. The location is non-descript, like a truck stop, but the workers inside seem to be very dedicated. They have a wide variety of diner type food - breakfast, lunch, dinner (only after 3pm), plus Mexican inspired dishes. We ordered a Machaca plate, and a grilled Tilapia. The place was not crowded but it took a bit longer than from the usual diner to get our food. When we got it, it was obvious that the cook took great care preparing our food. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, still hot from the grill. Also the veggies were well grilled, almost roasted - most of the time when I ordered grilled veggies they are undercooked and still soggy. I didn't try the Machaca but it was a generous amount of food and looked well prepared too. I'm glad Jerry's exists, and they do seem do get regular customers who enjoy the food and service.

We stopped here for lunch and we think the food was just βokayβ. We have had way better. The cafe was clean and not very busy. Our service was okay but we werenβt greeted for awhile. The ranch was really runny which is odd. Also the ketchup was super runny, as if they added water to it. The fries and onion rings were not fresh and tasted frozen. The food was lacking flavor. Our bill was almost $50. Not worth the money we paid. We wonβt be back.
